French Cuff Consignment

Designers we carry

What's actually on the floor changes from week to week. That's the nature of consignment. The list below is a sense of what we rotate through, not a current inventory. If you're hunting for a specific designer or piece, write to us at [email protected] and we'll check what's in.

Luxury designer rotations

The luxury arrivals are the part of the shop that move the fastest. Most pieces in this category sell within two to four weeks. We authenticate every luxury piece before it goes on the floor; if we're not 100% certain it's genuine, we don't list it.

Contemporary designers

The contemporary tier sits between everyday wear and luxury. These are pieces we'd describe as "investment-grade contemporary" — well-made, recognizable brands, holding their value.

Everyday wear we accept

Most of the floor (by piece count) is name-brand everyday wear. Quality department-store and contemporary brands in good condition. We're particular about labels, but a well-made J.Crew or Eileen Fisher piece earns just as much shelf space as a designer name. The standard is condition, not brand.

Brands we accept regularly include J.Crew, Madewell, Eileen Fisher, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Cole Haan (for bags/accessories — not shoes), Vince, Equipment, A.P.C., and many smaller US and European labels.

What we don't accept

Fast-fashion brands (Shein, Boohoo, H&M, Forever 21, Zara) except in unusual circumstances where a piece is genuinely vintage or unusually well-made. The resale value just isn't there and the pieces tend to wear too quickly to consign confidently.
